A follow on program to un-Sur-real, we start off with a quick talk about real and surreal, and we look at some of the classic cubist paintings by artists such as Picasso, Braque and Gris. Students use lines to cut through their main image to create a fractured cubist look.
Students take their 30x30cm stretched canvas, their pencil, marker pen, thick and thin brushes and have around 40 minutes to get busy creating their cubist canvas art.
A high energy, fast paced class that sees students complete a vibrant artwork in around 45-60 minutes (depending on your school’s scheduled times).
